The service included the dedication of our youngest member, who definitely enjoyed being the centre of attention and joined her aunt and uncle as they delivered the reflection.
Dedication is an opportunity to thank God for the gift of a child and welcome them into the life of the church, remembering that they belong to this community and it belongs to them as much as to anyone else. It is also an opportunity to promise to support and care for them and those who have the joy and privilege of raising them, and to seek God’s blessing upon them.
